He resides in Nashville, TN with his wife Kayla and his daughter Sunday.

Stinson and Sam Miller have collaborated on projects for more than a decade, earning numerous national recognitions for their work together. Sam Miller is a longtime copywriter and creative director from Birmingham, Alabama. I'm Still Here (Mountainfilm 2025) is his first documentary film.
