Film is for Everyone.

One of our core values at PTFF is to create film events that exist without barriers for participation.

We recognize that striving for inclusivity means considering everything from physical accessibility to socioeconomic factors, childcare access, and more.

We welcome feedback from our patrons about how best to serve you, our deeply valued film community, as we continue to shape a more accessible Festival.

What we offer…

  • A portion of the proceeds from every patron pass is allocated to the Peter Simpson Free Cinema Fund, which allows PTFF to provide free passes to people with limited income.

  • PTFF hosts several free events for the community each year, including three outdoor movies during the Festival. Community members can also enjoy the annual Filmmakers Parade and Festival Lounge at no cost.

  • AudioFetch is offered at all 6 theatre venues during the September Festival, allowing users to stream audio directly to their wireless headphones using a free app.

    To download AudioFetch:

    1. Go to Google Play or Apple App Store

    2. Search for AudioFetch

    3. Download the free AudioFetch app

    4. Connect to the AudioFetchExpress WiFi in your phone’s settings

    5. Open AudioFetch App and start listening!

  • All venues at Port Townsend Film Festival are ADA compliant. Our staff and volunteers are happy to assist film-goers with seating if needed.

  • An entire week of films from the comfort of your couch. PTFF Virtual will be Sept. 28 - Oct. 4, 2026.

  • Have an accommodation need you’d like us to know about? Your volunteer form has a designated space to let us know your request.
