Ben Knight is an award-winning documentary filmmaker whose work explores the intersection of people, place, and adventure. Raised in rural North Carolina, he left photojournalism for filmmaking after discovering Mountainfilm in Telluride, Colorado. His films have earned more than 100 festival awards, including DamNation, which led to his nomination as a National Geographic Adventurer of the Year, the Oscar-qualified short The Last Honey Hunter, and Learning to Drown, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.
