Jo Rochelle is a Jamaican American screenwriter and filmmaker based in California. A graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts, she has written and directed award-winning short films as well as the feature Jasmine Is a Star, now streaming on FUSE+. Rochelle previously taught sixth-grade English and Social Studies in the Mississippi Delta through Teach For America and was a staff writer on Seasons 4 and 5 of Good Trouble for Freeform/Hulu.
