Kersti Bryan is a New York-based actor, writer, director, and Chief Umbrella Holder for Violet’s Umbrella Productions. As a filmmaker, her short STALLED IN EIGHT ETUDES won jury and audience awards at Sedona, Woods Hole, and Port Townsend film festivals, and Best of the Fest at SF IndieFest and others. Her first short film, EGG PARTY, won Audience Award for Cinequest FF and played at over 20 festivals. Through Violet’s Umbrella Productions, she continues to develop original work including the multi-media play LOT’S WIFE X @MATCHA_MEREDITH and an original new series, ZERO STARS.
As an actor, she has worked on stage, regionally, internationally and Off-Broadway earning praise from The New York Times, calling her “the excellent Kersti Bryan.” On screen, her credits include INHERITANCE, HBO’s PERRY MASON, AMC’s TALES OF THE WALKING DEAD, Apple TV‘s INVASION, RAY DONOVAN, ALL RISE, HUSTLERS and is a frequent presence in independent features and short films. You can catch her this fall recurring in Apple TVs new series, NOCTURNE.
