Kevin McDevitt
Bike Short
Kevin McDevitt is a writer and director who spent a decade creating award-winning campaigns for brands including Apple, Adobe, and Sierra Nevada Brewing before turning his full attention to independent filmmaking. His viral public service film Good Blood, created during his recovery from a life-saving bone marrow transplant, earned international recognition while raising awareness for the bone marrow donor registry. Today, McDevitt focuses on building his artist-centered independent film studio, Slacker, writing, and directing films that blend heart, humor, and inventive storytelling. Bike Short continues its international festival run while he works on a memoir and, as he puts it, tries to solve the mystery of who stole his bike shorts.
