🎉 Celebrating Our Volunteers (by showing a film!)
Seeking Local Short Films. PTFF is now accepting film submissions. In the 2024 season, we will highlight short films produced locally (among other films). PTFF encourages short film submissions from Puget Sound Islands and Olympic Peninsula-based filmmakers. While PTFF presents films from around the globe, the organization also has the goal of supporting local filmmakers.
PTFF will feature the chosen films in the festival program and in other marketing materials. As an additional support, submission fees have been reduced for this category.
For more details and to submit, click on the button. In FilmFreeway, look for the “LOCAL Short Film” category. Our deadline for submission is April 19th.
We look forward to viewing your submission!

Island & Peninsula Short Screenplay Competition. Are you a storyteller? We want to see your five-page screenplay! This contest is part of our ongoing mission to cultivate a vibrant film community in the Olympic Peninsula region, and it’s a fantastic opportunity for local storytellers to see their creative visions come to life on the big screen.
The winning script will receive full production by a dynamic team of regional filmmakers, including members of the Port Townsend Film Festival, Jefferson County Filmmakers Collective, and Port Townsend Film Studio. The film will debut at the Port Townsend Film Festival, September 19 to 22, 2024.
Deadline for submission: March 1, 2024
