Festival Sponsor Spotlight-
Vintage - Port Townsend Vineyards

Karle Coppenrath - owner

Why do you support the Port Townsend Film Festival?

“I support the Film Festival because it brings such a fun and different energy to Port Townsend. For a few days, the whole town feels a little more alive especially at the outdoor movie, and I love seeing people come together around films they may never have seen otherwise. It feels creative, interesting, and very much like Port Townsend.”

What movie had a big impact on you? Why?

“‘Terms of Endearment’ is one of those movies I’ve just never forgotten. What stayed with me was how real the relationships felt. People loved each other deeply, but they also annoyed each other, disappointed each other, laughed together and sometimes didn’t say the things they probably should have. It wasn’t a perfect version of family, and I think that’s why it felt so true. It made me laugh, it broke my heart, I cried (a lot!) and somehow it still managed to feel warm and comforting. That combination has always stayed with me.”
