Cheri Gaulke is an award-winning filmmaker, artist, and educator whose pioneering work in the feminist art movement has been exhibited at museums and festivals around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, and the Venice Biennale. A co-founder of the performance groups Feminist Art Workers and Sisters of Survival, her recent documentaries have earned numerous festival awards while exploring artists, activists, and underrepresented voices. After a distinguished 31-year career teaching at Harvard-Westlake, where she inspired generations of filmmakers and launched youth documentary initiatives with global impact, Gaulke continues to create work that celebrates art, history, and social change.
