Jannat Gargi

Jannat Gargi is an Emmy and Peabody Award-winning producer and creative film executive with 25 years of experience, leading content divisions at Westbrook, Vice and Vulcan. She’s developed and produced commercially successful, impact-driven films that tackle critical issues, including Academy Award-winning Best Documentary, Summer of Soul, three-time Academy Award-nominated, Flee, Emmy-winning Body Team 12, The Reason I Jump, STEP, LIFT, Copa 71, and Master of Light. Gargi is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences Documentary Branch (AMPAS), Producers Guild of America (PGA), and serves on the Board of Directors for Washington FilmWorks and The Redford Center. Gargi was born and raised in Punjab, India. Fletcher Street is her directorial debut.
