Filmmaker Ward Serrill and Producer Rocky Friedman tell the adventurous and entertaining adventures of Bill Porter (Red Pine), a world-renowned translator of ancient Chinese poetry, who ignited a movement in China to seek inner peace through poetry and mountain solitude. Bill is a living bridge between two cultures, a bridge that is supported by ancient poetry and understanding.

PTFF receives a grant! PTFF is excited to report that we are one of 811 grantees awarded funding from the second year of the Community Accelerator Grant program, administered by ArtsFund and funded by the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation. The Port Townsend Film Festival will receive an unrestricted grant in the amount of $12,500 as part of the $10M in total funding distributed to arts and culture nonprofits throughout Washington State.
This vital funding will allow us to invest further in our mission and essential work serving our community. We extend our sincere gratitude to ArtsFund and the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation for their generous support.

Q U I C K U P D A T E
In April, PTFF hosted a fundraiser for the Chronically UnderTouched Project Short Film. We wanted to pass on a quick update. The majority of the shooting for the film took place in April on Whidbey Island. The project’s story is detailed in a recent Seattle Medium article.
