SOME EVENTS SOLD OUT!

One of the benefits of the new ticketing system that PTFF uses (Eventive), is the ability to reserve tickets to screenings and Forum events ahead of time. Many attendees have been busy mapping out their 4-day Festival journey, and several events are now sold out.

But don’t worry! There are seats available at many other events. If there are screenings or Forum events that you’re particularly interested in, we encourage you to make ticket reservations ahead of time.

To make ticket reservations for Film screenings and Forum events login to your Eventive account at ptff2024.eventive.org/welcome. Find film screenings and Forum events you’d like to attend and click the “ORDER TICKETS” button.

As of today (Sept 12), all Pass holders (of any type) now have access to the ticket reservation system in Eventive. Ticket reservations for standalone tickets begins Sept 16th.

Need some assistance? Here are 3 ways to get help…

LIVE MUSIC ACTS ANNOUNCED — TO PERFORM FOR DAILY DINNER BREAKS

For the Festival’s Daily Dinner Breaks, Friday through Sunday, PTFF is proud to announce our live music acts. Were you hoping for variety? Well, you’ll certainly get that! Grab a picnic meal (see below), find a seat in the Outdoor Festival Lounge or get up and dance – as the moment moves you.

Friday 5:30PM - Chaotic Noise - Over the top marching band from Seattle! They will play during the Filmmakers Parade and the Daily Dinner Break.

Saturday 5:30PM - AVE - a rapper, singer, writer, and multi-instrumentalist born and raised in Washington State. Their music is hip hop blended with other genres such as Filipino Harana–or traditional serenade music.

Sunday 5:30PM - Harbor Jazz Ensemble - For more than 15 years, HJE has provided sophisticated jazz bands for cocktails and dining, dancing, romancing and just great listening.

LOCAL RESTAURANTS PROVIDE PICNIC MEALS DURING THE FEST!

There’s that time – when leaving one film, and there’s that other Forum event you need to get to… and you’re hungry! Local restaurants to the rescue. The following six providers have you covered. Here’s what they’ll have and where to find them…

TWO FESTIVAL LOUNGES THIS YEAR! — INDOOR AND OUTDOOR

Whether your Festival-going style is watching one film per day or four, eventually you need to rest. Am I right? This year you have two great options, The Indoor Festival Lounge and the Outdoor Festival Lounge.

OUTDOOR FESTIVAL LOUNGE

Regular PTFF-ers will be familiar with hanging out on Taylor Street, which is closed to cars during Festival time. If the weather cooperates, you’ll want to lounge in a chair, grab a beverage from Bar Car, and in the evening enjoy the Daily Dinner Break live music, prior to the outdoor movie.

Bar Car
Fri-Sat-Sun, 3PM - 9PM.
Bar Car offers craft cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic concoctions

INDOOR FESTIVAL LOUNGE

Would you like a quieter spot to sit down and review your schedule? Come to the Cotton Building. Grab a cup of coffee, meet a friend, make a friend, and check out the PTFF's 2024 merch! The Cotton Building is located at 607 Water Street.

OPENING NIGHT GALA DINNER TICKETS GOING FAST

One of the hottest tickets in town – don’t miss your chance to greet this year’s Special Guests and visiting Filmmakers! Support PTFF by donning a “creative black tie” outfit, walking the red carpet, sipping craft cocktails, and relishing in a PNW feast at this, the annual fundraiser for all of PT FIlm’s year-round programming.

Filmmakers are in attendance and both special guests, Louie Schwartzberg and Catherine Hardwicke, will speak on their careers and how film festivals have been integral to their success.

Patron Passes include a ticket to the Gala, but you must still add the event to your Pass by making a ticket reservation. All others are invited to purchase their tickets as a stand-alone event.

Catering by Hills and Valley Catering. Open bar by Bar Car.
Tickets are limited, so please purchase early!

VOLUNTEERS FOR SET UP AND STRIKE!

Got some muscle or just enjoy seeing things come together?

Help us build the festival from the ground up and
pack it all away once the fun is over!
We're looking for a handful of volunteers to help us
the day before and after the Festival.

Here’s when we need help:
Wednesday, September 18th from 12-5pm and
Monday, September 23rd from 9am-1pm.

Please email leah@ptfilm.org if you’re interested in helping!

THANK YOU SPONSORS!

It takes a village to make a film festival, and PTFF
would not be here without
all our wonderful Sponsors.

Let’s please hear i
t for
Rose Theatre, Fort Worden Hospitality, and Northwind Art!
We’re grate
ful to have their support.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT!

GET YOUR COSTUME READY!

It’s time for the Filmmakers Parade! This happens on Friday of the Festival (9/20) at 5:30 PM, along Washington Street at Taylor Street. We’re telling you now, so you have time to prepare. Like last year, we invite you to dress as your favorite movie character for the Filmmakers Parade.

We’ll all dance to the beat of Chaotic Noise Marching Corps (last year they were a hoot!)

Classic cars and trucks will deliver our visiting filmmakers to the red carpet at Taylor Street. It’s a beloved PTFF tradition, and we’re glad to once again partner with Rakers Car Club and organizer Jim Arrabito.

FILMS WITH GUESTS

One of my favorite parts of attending any film festival (but especially ours), is being able to meet the filmmakers. In general, visiting filmmakers participate in a post-film talk back, so get your questions ready! This year, many of our films are slated to have filmmakers in attendance. We thought you might like to know – here’s the current list.
